Todos Santos is kicked back!  Todos Santos is definitely not the place to spend your vacation if you are looking for mega resorts.  Todos Santos, in fact, has nothing even close to a mega anything.  What you will find in Todos Santos are mostly boutique type hotels and some very nice bed and breakfast inns, all of which offer things like personalized service, efficiency, and cleanliness rather than beer drinking contests in the pool.  Many of the hotels in Todos Santos are very modern, some are enclosed in carefully restored 18th century buildings and a few are extraordinary attempts at achieving something unique. 

Most of the hotels in Todos Santos are located within easy walking distance of the Centro Historico, (what you would call downtown) and some are located a way our of town, most of those on or very near local beaches.  If your are staying out of town you will probably want a rental car.  In fact, most visitors to Todos Santos arrive in rental cars.
